The Sun's Return / West Coast of Northern Norway, 68°N
In Northern Norway, at 68°N, the sun is under the horizon between the 2th of December and the 10th of January. We call this time of year ‘The Time of Darkness’. When the sun returns it marks the start of the journey towards this periods equivalent – the time of constant daylight during the summer. During this time the sun never sets between the 22nd of May and 18th of July at 68.8000° N.
